The public health campaign required a large-scale, responsive effort to improve health literacy, build trust and expand outreach across multilingual communities, rural residents and difficult-to-reach groups. The effort also needed flexibility to adapt to shifting legislative requirements while maintaining clarity and compliance.

Solution
MCMC’s CommunityConnect approach created a sustainable grassroots communication network supported by effective digital and PR strategies. By equipping trusted community members and organizational partners with plain-language resources, cultural adaptations and ongoing support, we ensured health messages were carried by voices the public already knew and trusted. At the same time, we launched coordinated campaigns across digital, broadcast, print and earned media to maximize reach.

Results
MCMC’s efforts recruited and trained more than 230 trusted messengers and engaged over 120 community partners, creating a powerful grassroots network that carried health messages directly into neighborhoods, schools, workplaces and faith-based communities. This community-driven approach, paired with multi-platform marketing, produced measurable impact: 32 million digital ad impressions, 13.5 million TV impressions, 4.4 million social media impressions with a 4.3% click-through rate and more than 2.4 million visits to the public health information website. Together, these results demonstrated the strength of combining trusted local voices with broad-scale communications, building both immediate engagement and long-term community trust.
